The Healthy Muslims Show is a series on nutrition, fitness, and healthy living during Ramadan.

Hosted by registered dietitian Nazima Qureshi and fitness coach Belal Hafeez,  co-founders of The Healthy Muslims, the show brings expert guidance to the practical realities of fasting, from fueling between fasts to training with discipline and sustaining energy throughout the month.

Each episode offers clear strategies, nourishing recipes, and workouts designed to strengthen both body and focus.

Belal Hafeez

Belal Hafeez is a Personal Trainer and Fitness Expert who is passionate about bridging the fitness gap in the Muslim community.  He is the author of The Healthy Ramadan Guide and has been featured in NY Times. Belal’s goal is to help build a relationship with fitness, to help you understand how to get stronger, alleviate pain, and how to make it easier to fit it into your busy schedule.

Nazima Qureshi

Nazima Qureshi is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist with a Masters of Public Health. She is a two time author, a food journal entitled Eat Better, Feel Better, Live Better, and The Healthy Ramadan Guide. She has been featured in CNN, CBC, Canadian Living, Self Magazine, Globe and Mail, and NY times.

Her philosophy is to live a healthy lifestyle that includes enjoying all foods as well as enjoying being physically active.
