Short-Form Video Editor

Location: Muslim Media Hub, 27 Pearl Street, Mississauga
 

Wage:  $20/hour

Position: Contract (full time, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks)

About the Role:

MMH is seeking a creative Short-Form Video Editor to produce engaging reels and micro-content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. You’ll help shape our online presence and bring our stories to life.

Responsibilities

• Edit daily short-form videos and micro-trailers

• Pull highlights from interviews and shows

• Add captions, graphics, and brand templates

• Work with writers and coordinators to ensure accuracy and tone

• Maintain an organized project and export workflow

You Are:

• Skilled in Premiere Pro, DaVinci, or Final Cut

• A fast learner with strong attention to detail

• Familiar with social media trends and pacing

Eligibility Requirements (Canada Summer Jobs):

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment period

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

• Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
