Location: Muslim Media Hub, 27 Pearl Street, Mississauga
 

Wage:  $19/hour

Position: Contract (full time, 35 hours per week for 8 weeks)

 

About the Role

Muslim Media Hub (MMH) is looking for a motivated Production Assistant to support our studio and on-location filming. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn film production, work on real shows, and be part of a dynamic creative team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with camera, lighting, and audio setup

• Prepare studio spaces for filming

• Support recording sessions, interviews, and live events

• Manage equipment, batteries, SD cards, and cables

• Help organize, label, and back up footage

• Assist with set changes and studio maintenance

 

You Are:

• Reliable, organized, eager to learn

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment

• Interested in film, media, or production

Eligibility Requirements (Canada Summer Jobs):

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment period

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

• Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
