MMH at EPIC Symposium

Our Executive Director Safiyyah Ally was invited to speak at EPIC’s Changemakers: Reimagining the Screen-Based Sector panel, a national conversation shaping the future of Canada’s media landscape.

Safiyyah shared Muslim Media Hub’s vision for a more inclusive screen sector: community-led creative spaces, sustainable funding pathways, and storytelling ecosystems where underrepresented creators hold real decision-making power.

Our presence on this panel signals the growing recognition of the work MMH is building, grounded in equity, creative excellence, and the belief that diverse communities deserve the tools and spaces to tell their own stories.
