Ali Zaidi, Short Film Lab Instructor

Meet Ali Zaidi, an editor with over 12 years of experience in film, television, and corporate media. His work has earned awards and nominations both in Canada and internationally, with credits including TVO, TMU, and the City of Brampton. Ali also works at Muslim Media Hub.

At the Short Film Lab, Ali will guide participants through the editing journey, from organizing footage and building scenes to working with music, b-roll, and archival material.

With his technical expertise and sharp storytelling sense, Ali helps shape raw footage into films that resonate.
