Film and Documentary Editor

About the Role

MMH is seeking an experienced editor for short films, documentaries, interview-based programming, Ramadan content, and broadcast productions.

We need an editor with strong storytelling instincts who can find and shape the story within the footage.

Responsibilities:

• Build assemblies, rough cuts, and final cuts

• Shape interviews, b-roll, archival material, and natural sound

• Identify structural problems and missing footage

• Complete basic colour and audio cleanup

• Add captions, graphics, titles, and credits

• Prepare organized project files and final exports

Qualifications:

• Strong editing portfolio

• Excellent storytelling, structure, and pacing

• Professional editing-software proficiency

• Strong organization and reliability

• Ongoing, project-based

• Fully remote

• No guaranteed minimum hours

• $35 per hour
