Program Coordinator

Type: Part-time (20 hrs/week)


Location: Muslim Media Hub, 27 Pearl Street (We value in-person collaboration and community, so this role is primarily on-site. However, some responsibilities can be completed remotely depending on the task.)

 

Rate of pay: $25,000-$30,000 depending on experience

 

About the Role

Muslim Media Hub (MMH) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordinator to support the smooth operation of our dynamic and growing organization. You’ll plan events and workshops, manage volunteers and ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of MMH.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of MMH programs and initiatives

  • Plan and execute in-person events

  • Manage and schedule volunteers, interns, and part-time staff

  • Maintain program calendars and timelines

  • Liaise with partners, participants and community members

  • Monitor and document progress of ongoing projects

  • Assist with internal communications and reporting

 

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Event coordination and program admin experience is an asset

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Passionate about community engagement and Muslim-led media
