Type: Freelance or Part-time

Location: Muslim Media Hub and surrounding areas (on-site filming required)

 

Rate of pay: $30-$40/hr depending on experience

 

About the Role

Muslim Media Hub is looking for a talented and reliable Videographer to capture compelling, cinematic visuals for our original content, from Let the Quran Speak to documentaries, interviews, and community-based video series. We’re seeking someone who crafts beautiful images that elevate our stories and resonate with audiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate video, lighting, and sound equipment for in-studio and on-location shoots

• Capture high-quality footage according to creative vision and technical standards

• Set up scenes, frame shots, and adjust lighting and audio

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth, efficient shoot days

• Transfer footage to editors and organize media assets

• Occasionally assist with post-production if needed

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience with videography and media production

• Familiarity with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, lighting rigs, and sound equipment

• Strong visual storytelling and composition skills

• Ability to work independently or with a small team on tight timelines

• Passion for Muslim storytelling and content creation is a plus
